Welcome

In 1994 we established our present location but we have over 30 years installing ceramic tile and carpet throughout the Southwest Florida metropolitan area. Our project list spans the years and trends on jobs from residential, churches, schools to tenant build-outs and renovations. Tile & Carpet World was started by Duane Needham with the idea that a company based on quality, performance, and integrity would grow into an industry leader with a reputation for outstanding work. Our History

Prior to opening Tile & Carpet World, Duane was originally a tile installer but now he focuses on educating our customers to understand what they are purchasing. In 1994 he opened Tile and Carpet World on Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. By 1996 he began to expand due to rising demands in new products on the market. He started with tile, carpet, hardwood and then expanded to laminate, stone, marble, glass tile, and a wide variety of accessories. In 2004 Hurricane Charley destroyed half of the store facility but they rebuilt the new store and updated all of their product line. In 2023, our business relocated to a new building in a more central area of Port Charlotte at 3427 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
